So I was lucky enough to start my day today with the morning show team at Playboy Radio here in LA.
I always have a blast doing interviews all over the world but there’s just something extra fun about being on a show where they randomly play “Guess the Tattoo” with me, and the chat topics range from sports, to a guy who enjoys wearing panties, to have you ever messed around with a girl within a few sentences. And, of course it’s always good times when the hosts are funny, cute, and seem like people you’d totally be friends with.
So… onto my topic for today that sprung from a conversation we had on the show.
Would you rather be hot or funny Nicole?
My answer was… FUNNY.
They asked: “Really? Try telling the little fat girl that it’s not important to be pretty in this world, and that you don’t and haven’t gotten a ton of opportunities because you’re hot.”
And here comes my thoughts, that I shared in part with them on the topic of: IS THE WORLD EASIER FOR PRETTY PEOPLE?
My answer: NO.
I firmly believe that everyone, yes everyone, has a completely equal lot in life, and life always finds a way of balancing itself out.
Yes… really.
And I’m sure someone is ready to throw something at me right now, but hold the phones oh hot headed ones at least until you let me explain… and what better way to explain anything than a CHART! I love charts!

Obviously I’m messing around with this, but I think ya’ll can get my point.
There’s two sides to every coin and at the end of the day, people are people and we’re all just trying to make our way through this crazy superficial world while learning lessons and having a good time.

Let’s see:
Unattractive girls don’t get roofied because they’re already expected to put out for guys that show them any attention at all, but just arean’t worth roofie-ing over. It doesn’t matter which ones are intelligent because guys are only gonna listen to the attractive ones anyway. Who cares if they’re down to earth since a good personality counts against you? Attractive people are always promoted ahead of unattractive ones, so it doesn’t matter who is more reliable. The unattractive ones actually have to be sluts or are otherwise going to be ignored. Unattractive girls are judged far more harshly on their looks and their contributions are marginalized. If unattractive girls are getting asked out it’s because they are being judged on their looks in that they are determined to be “low hanging fruit” (easily attainable and thus easily disposable). Unattractive girls certainly do get raped. Skinny girls can’t eat, lest they be judged for it. Fat girls are already being judged harshly for it. Unattractive girls know for certain their guys can do better.

Well, Nicole, that was an interesting analysis of attractive vs. unattractive people. But I still think life is easier for attractive people. So why don’t you put your money where your mouth is, and walk your talk? Make yourself look butt-ugly for a month, and see how you like it! Hey, Charlize Theron did it when she played a serial killer (who happened to be an ugly b*tch)…and Charlize won an Oscar for that role, didn’t she? There you go. It would be a fascinating experiment, to go through life looking ugly for a month, and see how the other half lives. Go for it! Then write a blog about your experience.

You MUST be joking Andrew… it is NOT new news that somehow when I turned 19 peeps started saying I was cute… prior.. I was the dork of the world, total Lisa Simpson, overachiever to the max. I’ve spent the last 8 years seeing how the other side lives now, and that’s fully what my blog is based on.
AND, I just went full retard in a movie. What more do you want of me!

i hate to say this. pretty girls, esp. blondes are more valued by men and society. you’re a blonde. so, i don’t think you fully realize the disadvantages of being unattractive. beauty is highly valued.
i’m not white. i’m an asian guy and i can tell you there’re alot of asian women who would kill to look blonde and only date/marry a white guy to have mixed/white/blonde looking kids. why? b/c tall blonde is the most beautiful and valuable.
also, you can do this experiment to really understand what’s like to be unattractive. you can pretend/setup a fake asian guy or girl online profile on plentyoffish dating site and try to use your “sense of humor” to get just one date with a real blonde. i’m curious to know if you can succeed at this or not. pls let me know the result if u do take up this challenge. thanks.
